We could all do with a few tips to look younger or are you 100% happy with the way you look?
Haven’t you at, least once in your life, looked with envy at a bunch of six form girls laughing and chatting without a care in life? Haven’t you run to the mirror, looked at yourself and wished that you looked the same as when you were 10 years younger?
Everyone knows that, as we grow older, our skin loses its elasticity and wrinkles start making their way onto our face. However, what most of us don’t know is that we can control the way we look. With a little effort on your part, you can do a wonders for your skin.
Willpower and Patience. All of us start health conscious programs with great enthusiasm however, how many stick to the plan? None of these tips to look younger will work unless you carry them through. Don’t make it impossibly hard; we need to reduce stress – not increase it.
Make a promise to yourself that you are going to help your skin look better and get out a diary to write down notes. First, write down your daily routine and habits. Make a definite plan and include the points mentioned below in your plan. Once you make up your mind, you’re halfway there!!
Water. Surprisingly water is an excellent solution to all our problems. Drink lots and lots of water; yes, you may have to visit the bathroom more often however, bear in mind that you are washing away all the impurities from your body.
Diet. Fill your diet with all the fruits and vegetables you can afford. Fresh and raw ones which can be consumed with the skin on are best. Increase the amount of dietary fiber intake and low fat dairy products. Cut out junk food. Take a spoon of honey before you go to bed; it does wonders for your skin and weight control.
Yoga. Get a reliable Yoga instructor or even better attend Yoga classes regularly and you will feel your body simply wiping away the years. Yoga, when done in the proper way, energizes the body, removes unwanted fat, strengthens the muscles, improves blood circulation and makes your skin glow. Correct Breathing Techniques are very important too. One of the best tips to look younger as it will help relaxation and reduce stress.
Exercise. Compel yourself to incorporate a 30 min exercise program in your daily routine. It can be as easy as dancing to your favourite song, walking, cycling, skipping or you can join a gym. The point is Sweat it Out!
Facials and Body Massages. Treat yourself with body massages and facials at regular intervals. Pedicure and manicure are equally important. You will be able to get rid of old, dead skin and smoothen the wrinkles. If you can’t always go out for a facial, try out some home remedies like applying milk cream or a combination of honey and yoghurt daily.
Moisturizers. Check out your skin type with a qualified person and use a suitable moisturizer daily.
Green Tea. Take around three glasses of Green Tea daily as it contains anti oxidants which slow aging.
Finally try to Reduce Stress. Laugh uncontrollably, relax for at least 10mins daily, reduce your alcohol consumption and smoking, avoid too much travel and exposure to sunlight and make sure you get adequate sleep.
I don’t imagine that anyone will be able to adopt all of the above tips to look younger but try as many as you can and make sure you keep them up.
